The Texas Is Ready Coalition is composed of three organizations with a shared vision that every Texas youth deserves the information they need for a lifetime of healthy relationships and positive sexual health outcomes. Healthy Futures of Texas, The North Texas Alliance to Reduce Unintended Pregnancy in Teens, and the Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy have collaborated over the last two years to support improvements to the minimum standards guiding the delivery of sexual health education for Texas’ 5.4 million K-12 students. They continue to work together to ensure that the updated standards are implemented effectively and that school districts and communities have the resources needed to deliver medically accurate, developmentally appropriate instruction to students.

The Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy works to build constructive dialogue among partners statewide around teen pregnancy, adolescent sexual health, and effective prevention strategies through research & data, advocacy & public policy, training & events, and strategic collaboration. Our vision is that every Texas teen has access to the information and resources needed to prevent unintended pregnancy.
Ntarupt’s vision is that every young person in our community has the opportunity to set goals, plan an education and a career, and become self-sufficient before becoming a parent. Ntarupt provides sex education and communciations skills classes to both youth and adults, and also leads Talk About it Dallas, an awareness campaign which seeks to normalize conversations about sexual health and provide resources to adolescents, parents, and the general public to raise awareness and reduce the rate of teen pregnancy.
