About
The Texas Is Ready Coalition was formed by three organizations with a shared vision that every Texas youth deserves the information they need for a lifetime of healthy relationships and positive sexual health outcomes. Healthy Futures of Texas, The North Texas Alliance to Reduce Unintended Pregnancy in Teens, and the Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy collaborated to support improvements to the minimum standards guiding the delivery of sexual health education for Texas’ 5.4 million K-12 students. In August 2022, the three organizations merged under the banner of Healthy Futures in order to better serve communities through collaborative advocacy efforts. They continue to work to ensure that the updated standards are implemented effectively and that school districts and communities have the resources needed to deliver medically accurate, developmentally appropriate instruction to students.

NTARUPT
Ntarupt worked to ensure that every young person in the community had the opportunity to set goals, plan an education and a career, and become self-sufficient before becoming a parent. Ntarupt provided sex education and communications skills classes to both youth and adults, and also lead Talk About it Dallas, an awareness campaign which seeks to normalize conversations about sexual health and provide resources to adolescents, parents, and the general public to raise awareness and reduce the rate of teen pregnancy.
Healthy Futures of Texas
Legacy Healthy Futures of Texas worked to reduce unplanned and teen pregnancies through science-based education and advocacy efforts that empower young people, women, and families to make the best decisions for their futures. In August 2022, the three organizations merged under the name Healthy Futures of Texas, with a vision of improving the well-being of young Texans through equitable access to sexual health education and resources.
